1) Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information, depending on how you use the App:

• Usage & diagnostics: app interactions, crash logs, performance data, and basic device information (e.g., OS version, device model, app version).
• Approximate location (optional): if enabled by an ad/analytics provider, we may receive general region information (not precise GPS) to support ad delivery or app analytics.
• Purchase information: if you buy content (e.g., image packs), we receive confirmation from the app store that a purchase was completed (such as a transaction identifier and product id). We do not receive your full payment details.
• User content stored on-device: coloring progress, unlocked packs, and app preferences are typically stored locally on your device to restore your experience.

Note: ColorBuddy does not require you to provide your name, address, or phone number to use the App. If you contact support, you may provide contact details voluntarily.

2) How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Operate and improve the App (e.g., fix bugs, analyze crashes, improve performance).
• Restore your App experience (e.g., keep track of unlocked content and progress).
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.
• Show and measure ads (if ads are enabled in your version of the App).
• Validate purchases and prevent fraud or abuse.

3) Advertising

If the App displays ads, we may use third-party advertising partners (for example, Google AdMob) to serve ads and measure ad performance. These partners may collect and process information such as:

• Device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID)
• IP address and general location (derived from IP)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
• App and device details (app version, OS, device type)

You can often control ad personalization in your device settings (e.g., “Ads” settings on Android, “Tracking” settings on iOS). Availability varies by platform and region.

4) In-App Purchases

ColorBuddy may offer in-app purchases to unlock additional content (such as image packs). Purchases are processed by the app store provider (Google Play or Apple App Store).

• We receive purchase status (e.g., successful purchase, product id) to unlock content.
• We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• You can restore purchases using the app store’s restore mechanism (where supported).

5) Data Storage & Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes, such as: maintaining records of purchases and improving stability.

• On-device data: progress and preferences are typically stored locally on your device.
• Diagnostics: crash/analytics data may be retained for a limited period to troubleshoot issues.
• Purchases: records may be retained as required for accounting, compliance, or support.

6) Sharing of Information

We may share information in the following situations:

• Service providers: with vendors that help operate the App (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, ad delivery, and payment processing through the app stores).
• Legal requirements: if required by law or to respond to valid legal process.
• Safety & integrity: to protect users, prevent fraud, or enforce our terms.
• Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

7) Children’s Privacy

ColorBuddy may be used by families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) without appropriate consent.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8) Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights related to your information, such as:

• Requesting access to information we may have about you
• Requesting deletion of certain information
• Opting out of personalized advertising where available

Because many identifiers and settings are controlled by your device or app store, the easiest way to manage ads and tracking is often through your device settings.

9) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice within the App.
